
William Stewart
Associate Dubai
William is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution group.
Will specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration, and has worked on disputes across the construction, aviation and maritime sectors.
In addition to his contentious matter experience, he is familiar with standard form construction industry contracts, including FIDIC and JCT forms. He also has experience advising on electronic trade documents and the associated legal framework.
Over the course of his six-seat training contract with WFW, Will gained broad international exposure, working in the firm’s London, Dubai and Singapore offices. He is qualified to practise law in England and Wales.
- Advising on a term loan facility financing for the acquisition of stainless steel tank containers.
- Advising a statutory board of the Singapore government on the launch of electronic bill of lading model terms and guidance notes.
- Advising a Bahraini bank on a debt financing facility to refinance the acquisition, design and construction of a portfolio of solar projects across the Middle East.
