Will Cooper

Will is a Knowledge Counsel in the Assets and Structured Finance group, based in London.

Will is a highly experienced solicitor specialising in asset finance and export credit transactions (including shipping, aviation, and rail finance).

Will has a wealth of both in-house and law firm experience and joined the firm from UK Export Finance (UKEF), where he was a Business Manager in the Aerospace and Defence division. Will trained at Norton Rose and qualified into the shipping finance team there in 2003. Between 2008 and 2015 he worked as an in-house legal counsel at UKEF where he specialised in aviation finance. Prior to re-joining UKEF in a commercial capacity in 2020, Will had roles as an aviation finance partner at Ince & Co and as in-house legal counsel to the International Asset Finance (EMEA) team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
