Tom is an Associate in the Projects Group.

Tom specialises in banking and project finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His experience includes project finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance, innovative development financing and export credit supported finance in the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. Tom regularly acts for lenders, borrowers, export credit agencies and multilateral institutions.

  • Advising lenders on the project financing of a 541 MW combined cycle dual-fuel power plant in Bangladesh comprising ECA-covered loans from commercial and development finance institutions.
  • Advising lenders on a project financing made available to a Bangladesh power developer for the purposes of its development of a 149 MW dual fuel power (heavy fuel oil and gas) station and two gas-fired peaking power plants in Bangladesh (with an aggregate capacity of 165 MW), financed by a mix of Islamic and conventional finance.
