Stephanie Zhang is an Associate in the Assets and Structured Finance group.
Stephanie focusses on the maritime sector, advising financial institutions, leasing companies and other shipping industry participants on a broad range of complex cross-border shipping finance transactions. She has particular experience in sale‑and‑leaseback structures and loan financing transactions involving vessels across the LNG, tanker and dry bulk sectors.
Stephanie is admitted in Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Advising Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. on a sale and leaseback transaction involving four newbuilding 14,000 TEU container vessels with the Peter Döhle Group.
- Advising Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. on a sale and leaseback transaction involving two newbuilding 93,000 cbm LPG/ammonia carriers with the Naftomar Group.
- Advising Bank of Beijing Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. on a sale and leaseback transaction involving a 325,000 dwt very large ore carrier (VLOC) with Polaris Shipping.
- Advising AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. on a sale and leaseback transaction involving five newbuilding Ultramax and Kamsarmax bulk carriers.
- Advising Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. on a leasing transaction involving a crude oil tanker.
