Shigeto Yamagishi

Shigeto is an Associate in the Asset Finance group.

Shigeto is a Japanese-qualified lawyer (Bengoshi) focussing on asset finance transactions, with particular expertise in the aviation and maritime sectors.

He advises banks, leasing companies, investors and other financial institutions on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing, leasing and transactional matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Shigeto practised at a leading international law firm in Tokyo, advising on cross-border M&A, private equity, corporate, real estate and financing matters. More recently, he has completed a secondment with a leading aviation leasing and investment platform, providing him with valuable commercial insight into the strategic, operational and financing considerations of the aviation sector.

Shigeto is fluent in Japanese and English.
