Shauna is an Associate in the firm’s Assets & Structured Finance group.
Shauna has extensive experience advising clients in the maritime and aviation industries on a wide range of matters related to finance, corporate and commercial practices. Shauna has advised on various types of financing structures, including JOLCOs, sale and lease back structures, operating and finance leases.
She is tripled qualified in England & Wales, New York and Singapore and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Advising Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank and The Korea Development Bank on the Balthazar-backed, sustainability-linked JOLCO financing of one Airbus A350- 900 aircraft on lease to Air France.
- Advising Maldivian Airlines on finance leases in respect of two ATR 72-600, one ATR 42-600 aircraft and other new ATR aircraft as part of the airline's international routes expansion.
- Advising Avation on its refinancing of five aircraft (a mix of ATRs and A320s) with Investec Bank plc, with all five aircraft leased to five different lessees across five jurisdictions.
- Acting for and advising Citibank and a syndicate of lenders in respect of the deliveries of 10 container vessels for Seaspan under a JOLCO financing.
- Acting for and advising a US bank in respect of a US$48 million financing for a Korean charterer in respect of three new container vessels.
