Rachel is a Costs Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution group.

Rachel has worked in-house in international law firms for almost 30 years. She provides specialist support on all aspects of costs to our expanding Dispute Resolution practice both in London and in our international offices.

Rachel has considerable experience in dealing with a wide range of high value and complex commercial costs disputes with particular experience in shipping. She assists with costs claims in Court proceedings, including Court of Appeal, Privy Council and Supreme Court, and both domestic and international arbitration. Rachel also has a significant amount of experience in dealing with the costs management of cases and advising generally on a wide range of costs related issues.

In 2003, Rachel was awarded the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen (ALCD) Cup for the highest mark in the Fellowship exam. As a costs lawyer, she also has rights of audience and rights to conduct costs litigation pursuant to the Legal Services Act 2007.
