Kaylee is an Associate in the Assets and Structured Finance group.

Kaylee has extensive experience in shipping finance, leasing and cross-border asset finance transactions. She regularly advises financial institutions, regional and international banks, export credit agencies, leasing companies, shipowners and borrowers on a broad range of financing matters, including bilateral and syndicated lending, sale and leaseback transactions, vessel acquisitions and refinancing projects.

Prior to qualifying as an associate, Kaylee gained experience in banking, project finance and general corporate matters during her training contract at the firm.

Kaylee is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

  • Advising a syndicate of international lenders on a US$750m facility for the financing of four newbuilding LNG carriers to joint venture companies established by leading Korean and Japanese shipping companies, which will be chartered to Qatar Energy upon delivery.
  • Advising Pacific Basin Shipping on a US$250m sustainability-linked senior secured committed revolving credit facility supporting its general corporate purposes.
  • Advising Bank of China (Hong Kong) on a US$289m syndicated and Sinosure-backed loan facility for the acquisition of eight newbuilding tankers by a Turkish shipowner.
  • Advising a leading Chinese leasing house in a US$47.3m sale and leaseback transaction involving the acquisitions of three bulk carriers from, and bareboat charter back to a Greek-based international shipping company.
  • Advising BoComm Leasing in a sale and leaseback transaction involving twelve container carriers with Navios Group.
