Katerina is a senior associate in the Firm’s Project & Structured Finance Group.
She has a deep knowledge of Greek civil and international private law and specialises in banking and corporate law. She has been advising clients on corporate governance matters and has been involved in major M&A transactions in the telecommunications and infrastructure sector. She has also significant experience in work-out and restructuring projects as well as in commercial and banking litigation. Prior to joining WFW, Katerina practised banking, corporate and competition law in renowned commercial law firms in Athens and has spent 5 years as in-house counsel in the financial sector.
Katerina has an international academic background, having graduated from the University of Munich (1998) and holding a Ph.D. from Ludwig Maximilian’s University of Munich (Germany) in Private and Comparative Law (2004) and a LL.M. from UCL London in International Business Law (2008). She is author of numerous legal articles and contributions in renowned domestic and international academic publications and is fluent in English and German.
