Jolyn is an Associate in the Corporate Group.
She is experienced in a broad range of commercial matters, including private mergers and acquisitions, private equity fundraisings and cross-border commercial transactions.
Jolyn is admitted to practise law in Singapore and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Advising Yanolja Cloud Pte. Ltd., a SoftBank-backed service provider of solutions in the hospitality and leisure industries, on its acquisition of Go Global Travel, a global B2B travel technology company, from global private equity firm Apax Partners. This deal was nominated as a finalist for the “TMT Deal of the Year” category at the ALB Korean Law Awards 2023.
- Advising Asian Development Bank Ventures on its investment in various start-ups in Singapore with operations in Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines.
- Advising E-gaming platform service provider on its software-as-a-service agreements with major telecommunications corporations, and its collaboration agreements with game publishers and partners.
- Advising a global technology distributor ranked on the Fortune 500 on its acquisition of a regional IT distributor in Asia. This involved the coordination and reporting of due diligence across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, the review and negotiation of the share purchase agreement and ancillary documents.
- Advising a Malaysian listed company on its intended acquisition of a group of companies in the medical devices industry across 6 jurisdictions in Europe and Asia, including Singapore.
