Elias is an Associate in the Projects Group in London.
Elias specialises in banking and project finance transactions across the energy sector. He has acted for banks, financial institutions, borrowers and developers on domestic and international projects.
Since joining the firm, Elias has worked in the firm’s London and Singapore offices.
- Advising a consortium of lenders on a project financing granted to OX2 for the construction of its first energy storage facilities in Finland.
- Advising a consortium of lenders on a €330m project financing granted to OX2 for the construction of three greenfield onshore wind farms in Finland.
- Advising a consortium of lenders on the £235m financing of Statera Energy’s 680 MW battery energy storage system project.
- Advising Rabobank, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking and Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg SA as lenders on an up to €500m term, DSR and letter of credit facilities granted to a subsidiary of Amarenco Solar Limited for the financing of a multi-country solar infrastructure project.
- Advising a syndicate of ten banks on a milestone non-recourse multi-currency up to €1.3bn green financing granted to Recurrent Energy, subsidiary of Canadian Solar, for the construction and development of renewable energy projects across Europe.
