Anastasios (Tasos) is a Senior Associate in the Project & Structured Finance Group.
Tasos specialises in energy law, advising international and domestic clients on investments in the energy sector, with emphasis on renewables and battery storage projects.
Tasos is regularly involved in large scale M&A transactions and has experience in the energy regulatory framework, project development and construction contracts and real estate. He has a MSc in Law and Engineering for Energy from the University of Thessaloniki. He is also an experienced litigator in civil and administrative law disputes, having represented numerous clients before the Greek Courts, including the Supreme Court.

- Advising the VALOREM Group on the preparation of a legal due diligence report regarding its 6.6 GW European projects portfolio as part of a proposed €200m fund raising on one side and the sale by 3i Infrastructure of its stake in Valorem on the other side.
- Advising Attica Bank S.A. as lead arranger on a €63m term bond loan facility granted to Jasper Wind Hellas S.A. to finance the development and construction of three wind farms with total installed capacity of 41 MW in Laconia in the southern Peloponnese.
- Advising the beneficial owners of construction company Cantreva SA, on their sale of 75% of the shares of Unagi S.A. to Motor Oil Renewable Energy.
- Advising NextEnergy Capital on its first strategic solar and battery storage acquisitions in Greece.
- Advising Valorem Group on the project contract negotiation and debt financing of the 27 MW Magoula wind farm project in Kozani, Greece.
- Advising a global IPP in relation to the development of a large portfolio of BESS and wind projects in Greece.
- Advising an international solar power development fund on regulatory and land rights matters with regard to the development of a PV projects portfolio and a BESS projects portfolio in Greece.
- Advising a number of clients on their participation in the Greek BESS Acceleration Scheme for merchant standalone BESS projects to be awarded grid connection terms.
- Advising an international IPP on regulatory and land rights matters in relation to the development of a portfolio of wind power projects.
- Advising a global renewables and BESS projects development joint venture on the development of a portfolio of standalone BESS projects in Greece.
- Advising a UK based leading developer and operator of renewable energy generation projects on the development of BESS projects in Greece and the preparation of project contracts.
- Advising a major European solar power IPP on regulatory and project contract matters with regards to their Greek projects.
- Advised several international clients in relation to their participation in the three Greek BESS Auctions for the grant of investment and operational aid for standalone BESS projects.
- Advised an international offshore wind developer on their participation in the public consultation regarding offshore wind legislation in Greece.
- Advised a wind turbine manufacturer in relation to their intended acquisition of a wind power project.
