Ana specialises in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and divestments, corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings and general company advice on a domestic and international level. Ana regularly advises Spanish and foreign companies on various types of corporate and commercial contracts across an array of sectors that include industrial, energy, professional services and real estate.

Experience Open

    Ana’s experience includes:
    • Advising Cerberus Capital Management on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Renovalia Energy for €1bn (enterprise value). This represents one of the largest ever completed deals in the Spanish renewables sector to date. TTR awarded WFW for the transaction as “Deal of the Month” in February 2016.
    • Advising Cerberus Capital Management on the acquisition of four wind farms located in Spain. The wind farms, with an aggregate capacity of 105.8 MW, are Sierra Sesnández en Zamora (20 MW), Loma del Capón en Granada (30,6 MW), Magaz en Palencia (30 MW) and Cova da Serpe II en Lugo (25,2 MW). Those had been acquired by Sinia Renovables, Comsa Renovables, Esif y Renovis.
    • Advising Vela Energy (Centerbridge) on the acquisition of a photovoltaic portfolio comprising seven facilities in Lorca, Murcia (Spain) from Spanish electricity company Spanish Power.
    • Advising Qualitas Equity Partners in the acquisition of several photovoltaic portfolios in Spain.
    • Advising the German private equity firm Aurelius Group on the acquisition of Scholl’s international footwear from Reckitt Benckiser Group plc.
    • Advising Bankia in the sale to Centene Corporation of Bankia’s 50% shareholding in Ribera Salud, a Spanish healthcare concessions leader.
    • Advising ERA Helicopters, one of the largest helicopters operators in the world, in the sale of Lake Palma, to FAASA Aviación.
