Eugenio is Head of the Italian Offices and a Partner in the Corporate Group.
Eugenio specialises in corporate law, including joint ventures, M&A and private equity, as well as acquisition and project finance and restructuring.
He has a particular focus on the energy sector, both renewable and conventional, as well as infrastructure where he regularly advises major corporations, private equity funds, and lenders on high-profile Italian and cross-border projects.
He is admitted to both the Italian and French Bars and to the Special Register of the Italian Supreme Court of the State – “Albo Speciale degli Avvocati Cassazionisti”.
Eugenio is recommended for his expertise by legal directories Chambers Europe, Chambers Global, Legal 500 EMEA, IFLR 1000 and Who’s Who Legal.
In 2024, he was recognised by Legalcommunity as “Lawyer of the Year” at the Energy Awards for being “one of the most experienced professionals in the field within Italy [….] for his depth and breadth of knowledge across the sector including renewables, oil and gas and energy efficiency”. - Advised Eni Group on the contract documents for the purchase of the Scarabeo 5 drilling floater which is currently being converted into a FPU (Floating Production Unit) by Saipem. It will be installed off the coast of the Republic of Congo.
- Advised Ilios Hydrogen Canada Limited on the development of its first green hydrogen production projects in Italy.
- Advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in its partnership with GreenIT on an agreement to develop three offshore wind projects in Italy’s Lazio and Sardinia regions with an overall installed capacity of approximately 2 GW.
- Advised Amber Infrastructure Group, as exclusive investment advisor to Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, on the latter’s €150m investment in Poland’s R.Power which owns a portfolio of 17 solar PV projects in Italy, Spain and Germany.
- Advised AvenHexicon, a joint venture 50-50 owned by Stockholm-listed Hexicon and Bologna-based renewables developer Avapa Energy, on grid and maritime concession applications for five floating offshore wind farms off the coasts of Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia.

- Assistenza al gruppo ENI in relazione alla negoziazione dei contratti strumentali all’acquisto dell’unità di perforazione semisommergibile Scarabeo 5, attualmente in fase di conversione in FPU (Floating Production Unit) da parte della stessa Saipem, che sarà installata al largo della costa della Repubblica del Congo.
- Assistenza a Ilios Hydrogen Canada, produttore e distributore internazionale privato con sede in Canada, nello sviluppo dei suoi primi progetti di produzione di idrogeno verde in Italia.
- Assistenza a Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners negli accordi di partnership con GreenIT per lo sviluppo di tre progetti eolici offshore in Lazio e in Sardegna. I progetti saranno collocati a circa 30 km dalla costa e avranno una capacità installata complessiva di circa 2 GW.
- Assistenza ad Amber Infrastructure Group, in qualità di consulente d’investimento esclusivo di Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, nell’investimento da €150m in R.Power, proprietaria di un portafoglio di 17 progetti fotovoltaici in Italia, Spagna e Germania.
- Assistenza ad AvenHexicon, una joint venture partecipata al 50% da Hexicon e da Avapa Energy in merito alle richieste di concessione demaniale marittima per la realizzazione di cinque parchi eolici offshore galleggianti al largo delle coste di Sicilia, Sardegna e Puglia.
