Eco Atlantic will use the raised capital to fund its share of the drilling of the Gazania-1 well on Block 2B, offshore South Africa.
The acquired portfolio includes a diversified portfolio of 15 equity joint venture investments, consisting of a fleet of circa 76 high-quality vessels within the product/chemical tanker, dry bulk, LPG, container and offshore services segments.
WFW advised Navigator Holdings Ltd on its agreement with Ultranav to merge the business and fleet of the latter’s subsidiary Ultragas ApS.
In return for its stake in the project, Advance Energy is funding the drilling of the new Buffalo-10 well for up to US$20m on a free-carry basis.
The project will include the development of a carbon measurement tool, enabling the industry to measure and understand waste and carbon impacts, with the aim of eliminating the negative environmental effects of production and working towards a carbon neutral future.
