We advised Smart Energies on a €87m fundraising to accelerate the deployment of rooftop, car park and small ground-mounted solar projects in Europe.
The projects are located across Italy.
Sea Lion 7 is a self-elevating mobile drilling unit capable of operating in water depths of up to 114.3 metres.
With this divestment, PLC exits the biogas/biomethane market to refocus on core business of developing, building and operating electric infrastructure and PV and onshore wind plants in Italy.
The project will generate around 42 GW per year and will be managed by Stern Energy
Scarabeo 5 will be installed off the coast of the Republic of Congo.
WFW led and negotiated the entire transaction, including finalising the sale and purchase agreement.
Photosol intends for this inaugural investment to be the first of many in the Italian market.
The projects will have an overall installed capacity of approximately 2 GW.
The plants will each use circa 54,000 tonnes of compost annually.
The two plants are estimated to be operational by 2025 and will have a capacity of circa 20.4 MW and 51.2 MW.
