From my interview with the head of Shipping Finance, I knew WFW was the kind of firm I wanted to join. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere belies the firm’s market leader status and clients come to WFW expecting a world-class service from personable and efficient lawyers.
Just three weeks in, I was in a meeting with the senior personnel of a major European bank, together with a Dutch lawyer.
The work is always international, and spending time in Greece has shown me how well-respected WFW is everywhere it operates. Back in London, I dropped straight into a team representing the Government of Pakistan, and was then at a three-day hearing in the Supreme Court listening to two top QCs in front of five law lords. I love the challenge of working for people from around the globe and feel I’m really able to make a contribution.
