The excellent first impression I had of Watson, Farley & Williams when I first joined the firm is a lasting one. The firm is unique in terms of both our structure - a small, thriving, fully-integrated international law firm – and our approach – prizing excellence, flexibility and collegiality.

We work on some truly challenging matters. One of my proudest achievements with the firm is a small but thoroughly complex corporate transaction involving a multinational French company that manufactures and distributes medical devices.

The core of my practice involves assisting European mid-cap companies with their US investments. In a typical day, I start the morning with series of phone calls with European clients to discuss drafts or to provide strategic advice; I then have meetings or phone calls in the afternoon with the US subsidiaries of such clients; and, when the phone goes (finally) silent in the late afternoon, I work on preparing and revising drafts of commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, and corporate/transactional documents. I work very closely with the Paris office, visiting the city approximately every two months to spend a week meeting with colleagues and clients.
