Workouts & Insolvency Experience
- Acting for Bank of Nova Scotia in litigation relating to Cenargo - a large ferry operator. The case involved issues concerning the interrelation between US Chapter 11 and UK Administration
- Advising major Finnish creditors in relation to the collapse and Administration of the TXU Group
- Advising a syndicate of banks in February 2003 on a major aircraft enforcement exercise against a European air carrier
- Advising The Royal Bank of Scotland plc on the receivership of the Lowline Shipping Group, and other shipping workouts/enforcements, involving aggregate indebtedness in excess of US$100 million. The Lowline receivership was the largest ever receivership of a UK-based shipping group and involved vessels in both the cruise and offshore sectors
- Advising the administrators of Victoria Oil Field Development Limited on the sale of its extended well testing and mooring system business to Brovig Production Services Limited
