  • Advising Petroleum Geo-Services ASA on the securitisation of a portion of its multiclient seismic data library. The assets involved are sets of seismic data relating to sub-surface geological formations produced by PGS’ fleet of sophisticated seismic exploration vessels. The transaction is believed to be one of the first securitisations of intellectual property rights outside the music industry.
  • Advising Charles Stanley & Company Limited, acting as nominated adviser/broker to Capcon Holdings plc, on a placing of 3,398,500 ordinary shares at 80p per share and admission of the ordinary shares of Capcon to AIM raising total funds of £1.75 million (before expenses) for Capcon and a further £968,800 (before expenses) for major shareholder Sovereign Capital Limited Partnership II.
  • Advising on the establishment of a London listed MTN programme for a major French company
  • Advising NextGenTel Limited (“NextGenTel”), a DSL service provider operating in the Norwegian market in relation to its latest round of venture capital financing. This fourth round of financing, led by Vital Forsikring and Geocapital Partners, together with Northzone Ventures, Vikerud Venture, Atlantis Vest, Vesta Forsikring and Skandia Fonds Forvaltning raised approximately US$6 million for NextGenTel.
  • Advising Allocean Limited in relation to the establishment of Allco Maritime Finance Pty Ltd in Australia as a $250m shipping fund to invest, through a UK vehicle, in a shipping portfolio (and subsequently advising on the acquisition of specific investments)
