AIM

Our corporate group has been involved with AIM since its inception in 1995 and is now recognised as one of the leading advisers having completed well over 100 transactions.

Our AIM team regularly deals with AIM transactions on a wide range of deals, from small to large, including the more complex dual listing transactions, constantly striving to meet our clients’ requirements on timing and flexibility.

We act for both companies admitted or proposing to admit to AIM, as well as nominated advisers, brokers, investment banks and other financial advisers in relation to AIM related transactions. We advise in relation to Initial Public Offerings, subsequent fundraisings, secondary listings, reverse takeovers, acquisitions and disposals. We also advise on pre-IPO fundraisings, migrations from the Official List of the London Stock Exchange to AIM, corporate governance issues and post-admission reporting obligations.

The AIM companies we represent span a broad range of industry sectors, and we have significant experience in particular in the energy, mining and minerals sectors.

We are also well placed to assist companies in introductions to brokers, nomads and other advisers, to provide our views on the different firms which might be approached, to attend initial meetings with such firms and to advise on financial and other engagement terms consistent with market practice.

Our clients are attracted to AIM for a broad variety of reasons, such as its profile as a globally respected market, the access it offers to a wide pool of capital, its comparatively flexible regulatory regime and the range of tax benefits available. The less stringent entry criteria for AIM make it possible for companies to gain admission without a trading record, an established management team or any minimum market capitalisation.
