Charity
WFW as a firm has made a number of charitable donations and often matches sums of money raised by its staff and clients across a broad spectrum of charity related events such as marathons, cycle rides and mountain climbing, to name but a few. Reflecting the industry sectors in which we work WFW recently raised £8,500 in aid of The British and International Sailors Society when 3 partners took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge.

We entered 3 WFW riders as part of cycle teams taking part in the first stage of the Tour de France (London - Canterbury, 8th July 2007) for two noble causes, the Prostate Cancer Charity and Children in Crisis. The two teams raising a combined total exceeding £100,000.

In line with our environmental objectives WFW has moved to electronic Christmas cards each year. The firm now makes a considerable donation to UNICEF each Christmas.

WFW has been awarded the Gold Award by HM Government in celebration of the organisation's decision to foster a culture of philanthropy and committed giving in the workplace.

The Gold Award is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers that have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through payroll giving.

In addition, WFW pays all administration fees to enable all employees donations to go directly to the chosen charities.
