Experience Open

    Tim’s experience includes advising:
    • Burbo Extension Ltd, a consortium of Ørsted A/S (previously DONG Energy A/S), Danish pension provider PKA and KIRKBI A/S, on the sale of transmission assets valued at approximately £193m to Diamond Transmission Partners BBE Limited pursuant to the OFTO regime.
    • Canadian Solar on its sale of a 142 MW solar PV portfolio with an enterprise value of c. £191.2m to Greencoat Solar Assets II Ltd, a fund managed by Greencoat Capital.
    • European renewables platform Vortex, which is managed by the private equity arm of EFG Hermes, on its acquisition of a 365 MW UK solar PV portfolio with an enterprise value of c. £470m from TerraForm Power. Comprising 24 operational assets, Vortex’s new acquisition represents one of the largest solar PV portfolios in the UK.
    • Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy) on its sale of a 50% stake in the 258 MW Burbo Bank Extension UK offshore wind farm to Danish pension provider PKA and KIRKBI A/S, parent company of the LEGO Group.
    • Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy), the UK Green Investment Bank Plc and Marubeni Corporation on the divestment of transmission assets of the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm to Transmission Capital Partners, the consortium comprising International Public Partnerships Ltd, Amber Infrastructure and Transmission Investment, as part of the OFTO tender process run by Ofgem.
    • Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy) and ScottishPower on its divestment of the transmission assets to the offshore transmission owner of the West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm, as part of the OFTO tender process run by Ofgem.
    • Solar 21 on its acquisition of the project rights required to build a 22 MW anaerobic digestion plant located in East Yorkshire and a 63 MW energy from waste plant located in North Lincolnshire.
    • Diverxia Infraestructuras UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Diverxia Infraestructuras, S.L., on its sale of a 3.9MW solar farm to Blue Elephant Energy Ltd.
