Tossaporn qualified in 2002 and joined Watson Farley & Williams in 2005. He has a Masters Degree in International Business Law from King’s College London and specialises in international business law, litigation and arbitration. He advises on a range of commercial litigation and arbitration matters including maritime, construction, private equity, insurance, employment and commercial & investment disputes. His clients include those in the oil and gas, construction, insurance, commodities trading, transport and real estate sectors.

Tossaporn is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and was called to the Thai Bar in 2005 and he is listed in the panels of arbitrators of the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI).

    Tossaporn’s experience includes advising:
    • A crossboarding engineering service companies in a claim against Thai Shipbuilding Company on breach of service agreements.
    • A rice trader in a claim for ship negligence in loading cargoes and contaminated rice. The amount of claim is around US$3 million.
    • A Thai airline company in a dispute with the oil refuel company in the Republic of Korea and prosecution proceedings in the Republic of Korea.
    • The International Air Transport Association (IATA) in enforcing an arbitration award against an insurance company in Thailand.
    • A offshore drilling company on obtaining a Foreign Business Licence to run the project in Thailand.
    • One of the world top five agricultural commodities trader in several arbitration awards enforcement in Thai court. The volume of enforcement is around US$7m.
    • Kone Thai Lift Industry PLC, a prominent MNC in multiple court actions in the civil, labour and criminal courts in Thailand.
    • A project management company in an arbitration against the project owner on claiming for losses arisen from unlawful termination. Representing the same party in securing and enforcing the award.
    • One of the largest rubber glove manufacturer in a claim against a group of traders in Thailand for breaching of 19 sale agreements.
    • A French optical component manufacturer on setting up an office to oversee the manufacturing line in Thailand.
