Thomas is a Partner in the Corporate team in Paris with expertise in M&A and private equity.

Thomas focuses his practice on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and projects in the energy sector, having over 17 years’ experience advising investment funds, industrial companies and developers on both domestic and cross-border disposals, acquisitions, joint ventures, development, project and financing transactions. He has a strong expertise advising on matters relating to the energy sector and in particular renewable energy.

Thomas also developed an expertise in drafting project agreements, in particular EPC and O&M agreements in the context of projects, including interconnection projects.

Thomas previously worked in three global law firms in Paris. Thomas holds a post-graduate degree in business law (DEA de droit des affaires) at the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne and an LL.M. (Master in Law) degree at New York University.

Experience Open

    • Advising the ADEME and GE on their equity investment in the Merkur offshore wind farm project of an installed capacity of 396 MW through their investment vehicle Coriolis Foak. Project Merkur was awarded European Offshores Deal of the year in 2016.
    • Advising Eolfi in relation to its joint venture with CGN in the context of the tender launched by the ADEME for floating offshore wind projects. Eolfi and CGN were awarded one project located in the Groix area in Brittany.
    • Advising Impax Asset Management Limited on the sale of 11 wind farms in France with an overall capacity of 124 MW to ERG Renew S.p.A.
    • Advising a Transmission System Operator (TSO) in connection with an interconnection project. This included assisting in the negotiation of the EPC Contracts with the bidders and the cooperation agreements between the two TSOs involved in the interconnection project.
