Tanja is a Managing Associate in in the Corporate group in the Hamburg office of Watson Farley & Williams.

She specialises in international M&A with transactions and joint ventures in the industrial, energy and real estate markets, including real estate and renewable energy development projects. She further advises in general corporate and contract law, including inter-company restructuring.

Tanja’s clients include mid-cap companies, financial investors, utilities, banks and project developers. She has a particular emphasis on handling cross-border transactions between Germany and France, such as the acquisition and financing of onshore wind farms in France.

Experience Open

    Tanja’s experience includes advising:

    • Trackunit A/S, a Danish company in the telematics sector, on the strategic acquisition of Dreyer + Timm GmbH.
    • EWE AG on all legal matters for the joint venture development of the German offshore wind farm Borkum West, second expansion phase. The joint venture partners of EWE are Trianel GmbH as well as 22 public utility companies of the Trianel group, including Stadtwerke Bochum Holding GmbH and STAWAG Energie GmbH.
    • HCI Capital on the acquisition of the project development of HCI Berlin Airport Center (by an investment company established for that purpose), a multi-tenant 18,700m² office complex at the Airport Berlin Brandenburg International, from Fay AG.
    • Aventron (former Kleinkraftwerk Birseck), a Swiss power plant operator, on the acquisition of the onshore wind farm GER in France.
    • IWB Industrielle Werke Basel on the acquisition of the 42 MW onshore wind farm Atrébatie and the 12 MW onshore wind farm Champs aux Chats in the Pas-de-Calais region in France both from OSTWIND International.
    • TWG Tanklager Wilhelmsburg GmbH, a subsidiary of Lampe Equity Management GmbH, on the acquisition of a 30 000m² industrial real estate in the Hamburg port with oil tank storage facilities, including advise on jetty services.
    • Parcom Deutsche Private Equity on the sale of SSB WIND SYSTEMS, the German-based producer of pitch systems to Emerson Electric Company.
