Natasha Seel is an Associate in the Paris Finance team who specialises in asset and structured finance (notably aviation and shipping). She acts for and advises both French and international banks and financial institutions, aircraft manufacturers and shipping companies on loan and security documentation.

Natasha joined the firm as a solicitor in 2017 after training with the WFW London and Paris offices and she re-joined the Paris office in 2018. Natasha speaks French having studied it as part of her Master’s degree.

Experience Open

    Natasha’s recent experience includes advising:
    • Advising China Aircraft Leasing Company Ltd. in connection with the financing and leasing of two Airbus A320-214 aircraft msn 7145 and 7200 leased to Pegasus Airlines by means of a Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option (JOLCO).
    • OMV AG, on the sale of two wholly-owned subsidiaries comprising its upstream exploration and production business in Pakistan to Dragon Prime Hong Kong Ltd for a consideration of €157m.
    • The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc in respect of the financing (Lightsource as borrower) of freehold interests in properties located in England & Wales and Northern Ireland.
    • Institutional investors on a £1.3bn investment-grade bond in relation to the acquisition by leading Danish pension funds PKA and PFA of a 50% stake in 659 MW Walney Extension offshore wind farm from Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy). The deal is valued at £2bn, of which £1.3bn is being funded through the issuance of the bond.
    • The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc in relation to project financing (of ten different solar sites) made available to Canadian Solar UK Investment Ltd for refinancing an existing facility and for various intra-group loans to the project companies.
