Experience Open

    Marcus’ experience includes advising:
    • EWE AG on all legal and tax matters for the joint venture development of the German offshore wind farm Borkum West II – 2nd phase. The joint venture partners of EWE are Trianel GmbH, as well as 22 public utility companies of the Trianel group, including Stadtwerke Bochum Holding GmbH and STAWAG Energie GmbH.
    • Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on its €384m investment in the new offshore grid connection “DolWin3” for North Sea wind farms, which will transmit wind energy from the North Sea to German customers, and the related joint venture with Dutch grid operator TenneT.
    • ewz, Zurich Municipal Electric Utility, on the acquisition of shares in the 288 MW offshore wind farm “Butendiek” in the German North Sea from German developer wpd AG.
    • Allianz Capital Partners GmbH, on the acquisition of a German onshore wind farm with a total capacity of 24 MW from the Danish company K/S VindInvest Cottbuser See.
    • Swiss EOS Holding on the acquisition of a German onshore wind farm portfolio with a total capacity of 91 MW from the Danish Scan Energy Group.
    • A banking consortium consisting of NORD/LB, KfW IPEX, Société Générale, DEXIA and EIB on the financing of the offshore wind farm project ”Global Tech I” (400 MW) with a financial volume of more than €1bn.
    • Industrielle Werke Basel (IWB) on the acquisition of the 42 MW “Atrebatie” wind farm project in the Pas-de-Calais region in France from German developer OSTWIND International.
    • Conetwork Erneuerbare Energien (CEE) on the acquisition of the 20 MWp solar farm in Eggersdorf, Brandenburg.
    • TWG Tanklager Wilhelmsburg GmbH, a subsidiary of Lampe Equity Management GmbH, on the acquisition of a 30,000m³ storage tank facility in the Hamburg harbour.
    • HCI Capital on the acquisition of the Berlin Brandenburg Airport Center (BBAC) (by a specialized invest fund vehicle), a multi-tenant 8,700m2 office complex at Airport Berlin Brandenburg International (BBI), from Fay AG.
