Kimberley is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution group in the London office of Watson Farley & Williams. She joined the firm on qualification in 2015.

Kimberley specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. Her recent cases include a High Court proceedings against a West African country for breach of contract.

In 2017 Kimberley spent four months on secondment to Watson Farley & Williams’ Singapore office.

Experience Open

    Kimberley’s experience includes:
    • Acting for claimants in a four week Commercial Court trial in relation to an investment dispute concerning a joint venture concerning a large scale and high profile construction project in Germany. Successful settlement after trial.
    • Acting for a high-net-worth Nigerian individual in respect of a High Court claim brought by the vendors of a property in North West London following the aborted sale of that property.
    • Acting for a Swiss EPC contractor in connection with disputes relating to liquidated damages, revenue credits and the construction of an EfW plant in the UK.
    • Advising a global oil and gas company in respect of numerous legal issues arising from the construction of twin state-of-the-art FPSOs, with particular reference to issues arising out of variation orders, liquidated damages claims, extensions of time and concurrent delay.
    • Representing a Qatari investment company in respect of a US$33m High Court claim brought against the government of a West African country for breach of contract.
    • Assisting an international bank with the management of long running litigation in the Republic of Turkey.
    • Advising a Swiss minerals trader on the enforcement of a US$6m LME Arbitration award.
    • Representing a Russian investment company in respect of a €1.3m High Court claim brought against a joint venture partner for fraudulent misrepresentation.
    • Advising a number of London insurers in relation to international multi-million pound offshore energy and marine related claims.
    • Advising a global investment bank prior to their EMEA implementation of a mobile user policy.
    • Representing London insurers in a multi-million pound LCIA arbitration in relation to their declinature of a Trade Credit Policy.
