Since joining the firm in 2012, Jessica has worked in both the London and Singapore offices and on secondment at Lightsource. Jessica has worked on transactions in the Energy & Infrastructure sector and her experience includes advising commercial banks and project developers on project finance and acquisitions.

Experience Open

    Jessica’s experience includes advising:
    • Sequoia Investment Management on the project financing of a 55 MW solar portfolio located in Poland. This transaction is the first large project financing under the newly implemented auction support systems in Central-Eastern Europe.
    • Institutional investors on a £1.3bn investment-grade bond in relation to the acquisition by leading Danish pension funds PKA and PFA of a 50% stake in 659 MW Walney Extension offshore wind farm from Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy). The deal is valued at £2bn, of which £1.3bn is being funded through the issuance of the bond.
    • Lightsource Renewable Energy on its agreement to enter into a partnership platform with UK Climate Investments to fund the development, acquisition and ownership of large scale solar power generation assets in India; together with offshore elements of the equity and debt financing of a 60MWp seed project in the state of Maharashtra.
    • The Royal Bank of Scotland in relation to financing for a 114 MW portfolio of ground-mounted solar PV installations developed by Foresight Group in England on both finance documents and also bankability issues arising under project contracts.
    • Santander’s infra fund on the acquisition of an onshore wind farm in Scotland.
    • PNE Wind AG on various issues relating to the sale of its UK wind farm project pipeline with a capacity of 1,130MW.
    • PNE on the sale of its Scottish onshore wind portfolio to Brookfield.
    • A developer on its joint venture in relation to a portfolio of 30 MW onshore wind with Blue Energy.
    • Bayerische Landesbank on a post-construction financing of several operational UK photovoltaic sites where Hanwha Q Cells is the developer.
    • Santander on the transfer of its English renewable energy portfolio to Cubico Sustainable Investments.
    • Cubico Sustainable Investments on its UK renewables portfolio financing provided by National Australia Bank.
    • Banco Santander in relation to the acquisition of three onshore wind farms at Winwick, Kelmarsh and Chiplow.
    • BayernLB on the financing of UK solar PV project owned by Equitrix.
