Hannah is an Associate in the firm’s International Dispute Resolution group. She joined Watson Farley & Williams as a trainee solicitor in 2003 and relocated to the firm’s Bangkok office in 2006.

Hannah has international arbitration experience in the construction, trade and transportation, power and energy sectors.

Experience Open

    Hannah’s experience includes:
    • Representing a Thai power producer in a claim against a Chinese contractor for breach of EPC contracts (governed by English law) for a biomass power generation plant, the first of its kind in Thailand. The claim exceeded US$40m and was successfully resolved through ICC arbitration in Singapore. Related proceedings in China for fraud were also successful.
    • Acting for charterers in a charterparty dispute relating to extensive delays at a load port in Australia due to “force majeure” events affecting the supply of the intended cargo, coal.
    • Advising an international dry bulk shipping company in connection with competing claims for bunkers supplied to three vessels through OW Bunkers group immediately before its sudden insolvency.
    • Acting for a high-net-worth individual in a Singaporean arbitration concerning the inadequate construction of a private motor yacht and related breaches of contract.
