Giuseppe is Counsel in Watson Farley & Williams’ Tax group.

He specialises in tax advice on domestic and international taxation, in particular in tax planning and implementation of corporate reorganisations and M&A operations. He is also expert in private equity transactions, in particular in relation to tax aspects of investments and exit by investment funds.

Giuseppe is also focused on indirect and direct taxation of corporations, domestic and international tax consolidation, incentive schemes (including international stock option and stock granting plans) secondment of personnel ,and taxation of financial instruments (including Italian and foreign UCITS).

His broad experience includes also involvement in the implementation of investments in real estate (including transactions with Italian real estate funds), and transactions in the energy sector. He is also expert in tax aspects and cross-border financings, including bank lending, issuance of notes and certificates, fiduciary notes and securitisation.

Giuseppe is regularly in contact with tax authorities with reference to negotiations, settlements (including on VAT and customs duties) and requesting tax rulings and he has been involved in several tax litigation proceedings (first and second degree).
