He also advises on the acquisition and sale of real estate portfolios and companies, for example the sale of Commerzbank AG’s ship restructuring platform HSAM GmbH, comprising a portfolio of 18 vessels, to a joint venture company of KKR Special Situations Group of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L. P. (USA) and Borealis Maritime Ltd (UK).

    • Frasers Hospitality on its market entry into Germany with the acquisition of hotels in Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg.
    • UTE Réunion, a subsidiary of ACS, in an arbitration under the ICC Rules.
    • ImmobilienWerte Hamburg on its acquisition of the shopping centre Emaillierwerk in Fulda from OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH.
    • Stichling Hahn Hilbrich GmbH on the cross-border downstream merger of a Cypriot Ltd into a German GmbH.
    • ImmobilienWerte Hamburg regarding the acquisition of 600 student apartments located in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Darmstadt and Mainz through closed-end funds.
    • TAG Immobilien AG on its acquisition of a German residential real estate portfolio comprising about 2,300 units via share deal (the portfolios were held by Luxembourg S.à r.l.s).
    • Chemring Group Plc on the sale of Chemring Defence Germany GmbH to the Drew Marine Group on corporate, finance, tax and regulatory aspects.
    • Trackunit A/S on the German legal aspects of its acquisition of all shares in Dreyer + Timm GmbH, a pan-European telematics service provider for fleet management applications in vehicles, trailers and agricultural and construction machinery headquartered in Rotenburg.
