He advises clients on a wide range of cross-border transactions, with particular emphasis on the aviation sector, where he represents financiers, airlines, owners and operators on the finance, lease, sale & purchase, and operation & management of business jets and commercial aircraft.

Dhruv also has experience acting for global and regional conglomerates, financial institutions and high net-worth individuals on a number of acquisition, divestment and incorporated & unincorporated joint venture transactions, and corporate matters, across the MENA region and India.

Another significant area of Dhruv’s practice is advising corporates looking to do business in India, as well as Indian companies looking at outward investments.

    • A number of owners and potential buyers on the sale and purchase of various types of aircraft, including drafting, negotiating and finalising the transaction documents and assisting with closing the transactions.
    • A number of high-net-worth individuals on the sale & purchase, financing and management of aircraft, including drafting and negotiating the transaction documents and transaction management.

    • The founder on the sale of a majority shareholding in a Dubai-based social media company, including negotiating and finalising the share purchase and shareholders’ agreement and disclosure letter.
    • A well-funded internet-enabled business on a corporate restructuring followed by the sale of a significant minority stake to a strategic investor, including advising on transaction structure, assisting with legal due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
