Watson, Farley & Williams, a leading international law firm, is advising London Nominees Limited on their recently established football fund.
The London Nominees Football Fund launched on February 1 of this year, with approximately US$40 million in assets under management. The aim of the fund is to invest in clubs, players, related brands and franchises, at a low minimum investment.
London Nominees Football Fund’s investment panel will include former international players, coaches and leading industry experts.
The London Nominees Football Fund has recently signed 2 key football figures, namely, new fund chairman, Carlos Alberto Torres, Captain of the 1970 Brazil World Cup Winning Side and Bryan Robson, ex-captain of Manchester United and England and current manager of Thailand’s national football team and Steve McMahon, ex-Liverpool and England international and current ESPN reporter.
Watson, Farley & Williams Bangkok is retained as legal advisor for all investments made by the fund.
