Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Joe Levin as a partner in its London office.
Joe advises lenders and sponsors on a number of project, borrowing base and other structured financings and has a particularly impressive track record in upstream oil and gas financings, with a real focus on reserve-based lending.
Joe joined WFW on November 25 2013 from Wragge & Co where he was a Director in the Energy and Infrastructure Finance team.
Michael Greville, WFW managing partner, commented: “A key element in our strategy is to continue to drive our core sectors and practice areas and ensure we deliver the highest level of service to our clients around the world. Joe’s experience complements our natural resources team and I am pleased to welcome him to the firm.”
Jan Mellmann, head of the Natural Resources sector, added: “The breadth and depth of our experience in the natural resources sector attracts great talent to the firm. Joe’s experience strengthens WFW’s upstream oil and gas offering, particularly with regards to reserve-based lending, and will reaffirm WFW’s position as a leader in commodities finance.”
Joe Levin said: “Iam delighted to be joining Watson, Farley & Williams’ leading natural resources practice. Given the firm’s strong pipeline of work and close relationships, I am excited to join such a vibrant practice.”
