Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that its Hamburg office has relocated to the city centre at Jungfernstieg with effect from Monday, 25 November.

Established in October 2005, the Hamburg office has grown to become WFW’s second largest office with 54 fee earners and 35 support staff and it is one of three German offices alongside Munich and Frankfurt, which opened in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

Previously located in the HafenCity, WFW Hamburg has a strong reputation for its domestic and cross-border client work, providing specialised legal and tax services in maritime, private equity, energy, infrastructure and real estate as well as offering advice on general banking matters.

WFW has been shortlisted in the International Law Firm of the Year category at The Lawyer European Awards 2014, an award the firm won in 2012.

The WFW team was praised by German legal directory JUVE 2013 for an “almost unrivalled presence in a market where many other firms aspire to be: the lucrative but notoriously difficult Hamburg market and the offshore business.”

Lothar Wegener, head of WFW Germany, said: “We are delighted to be relocating into larger premises to be both more central to our clients and to accommodate the continued growth of the Hamburg office.”
