WFW chosen as legal counsel to Pavia Acque

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has won a competitive bid to advise Pavia Acque (“Pavia Acque”), the provider of all hydro services in Pavia province (Lombardy, Italy), in relation to the selection of a lender or pool of lenders to provide them with a financing facility of circa €80m for investment in the hydro sector in line with their 2016-2033 Investment Plan.

WFW will advise Pavia Acque on all activities relating to due diligence, as well as legal advice during the tender process for the selection of the lender/lenders and drafting of all relevant financing documentation. Following the award of the tender process, WFW will act as deal counsel to both company and lenders on the drafting and negotiation of the financing documentation.

The WFW Italy team will be led by finance partner Pierpaolo Mastromarini, assisted by associates Michele Arruzzolo, Daniele Pompei and Clara Matranga. Counsel Nunzio Bicchieri and senior associate Elena Macchi, will advise on all regulatory and administrative matters relating to the tender procedure, and Counsel Giuseppe Franch on all the tax aspects.
