WFW boosts Singapore aviation finance offering with new partner hire

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”)’s highly regarded Singapore aviation finance team has been enhanced with the arrival of new partner Samuel Kolehmainen. Samuel joins WFW from the Singapore office of Clifford Chance, where he was a senior associate. Before that, he spent two years as in-house counsel with an aircraft operating lessor in Ireland.

A well-respected figure in aviation finance circles, Samuel regularly advises lessors, lenders and borrowers on aircraft finance transactions. His expertise is recognised in leading legal directory Chambers Asia-Pacific 2016 who note that Samuel “gains high praise from clients, who appreciate that he is very thorough, very detailed”.
