WFW Asia Practice advises Nordea Bank and HSH Nordbank on US$72m loan facility to Greenship Bulk

Watson, Farley & Williams Asia Practice, Singapore (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised Nordea Bank Finland Plc, Singapore Branch and HSH Nordbank AG, Singapore Branch as mandated lead arrangers in relation to a US$72 million loan post-delivery facility to Greenship Bulk in order to finance part of the acquisition cost of 4 x 63,200 dwt bulk carriers under construction at Yangzhou Dayang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Nordea Bank Finland plc, Singapore Branch acted as facility agent and security trustee.

The vessels are commercially managed by Setaf Saget, and the facility is guaranteed by, amongst others, Jaccar Holdings.

The WFW Singapore team was led by partner Simon Petch who was assisted by Singapore partner Jonathan Tan and trainee solicitor Su Lin Khor.
