WFW Asia Practice advises Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise on a container terminal operator sub-concession agreement at a port in Lagos

Watson, Farley & Williams Asia Practice, Singapore (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise (“LPLE”), in relation to the Container Terminal Operator Sub-Concession Agreement (“Sub-Concession Agreement”) at a deep water port in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria (“Lekki Port”).

LPLE, as master concessionaire, has granted International Container Terminal Services Inc., a leading international container terminal operator, a sub-concession to operate the container terminal at the Lekki Port on the terms and conditions of the Sub-Concession Agreement.

This was a complex cross-border transaction which is expected to contribute significantly to the continued growth of the region’s economy.

The WFW team led by partner Chris Lowe included Singapore partners Mehraab Nazir and Ivan Chia and London partner Mark Wandless.
