25 June 2013

Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to the panel of firms acting for the export credit agencies (ECAs) of the UK, France and Germany on new Airbus aircraft transactions involving ECA supported financing.

UK Export Finance (the operating name of the Export Credits Guarantee Department), along with Coface and Euler Hermes Deutschland AG, the respective ECAs of France and Germany, have selected WFW to a panel of four firms after an open competition advertised in the Official Journal of the EU.

Rex Rosales, Head of Aviation at WFW, said: “We are delighted to be appointed to this panel. From our Aviation Finance hubs in London, Paris, Hamburg and Asia, we are particularly well placed to assist the ECAs on new Airbus financings. Game-changing developments are happening in the Aviation Finance sector and our place on the panel puts WFW right at the centre of the action.”
