WFW announces significant continued growth in Germany in financial year 2011-2012

Watson, Farley & Williams, a leading international law firm, has announced its financial results for the financial year ending 30 April 2012. Firm-wide, revenue was €114m (£99.8m), up 12% compared to the previous year to 30 April 2011.

The firm’s revenue growth in Germany was €17.7m, up 25%. This corresponds to an average of €385,000 revenue per fee earner.

The number of fee earners in our Hamburg and Munich offices also rose to 53 by the end of the financial year.

“We are very pleased that after experiencing a growth spurt in 2010-2011, we were once again able to achieve growth of around 25%. In addition to a few landmark transactions that characterised the financial year, the expansion of our practices in Hamburg and Munich continues to be very evenly distributed across our core areas: Maritime, Energy, Private Equity/M&A, Real Estate and Transport.
