The WFW team, led by partner and head of WFW Italy Eugenio Tranchino, supported by associates Francesco Dialti, Ginevra Biadico and Antida Cutuli, advised on corporate law, administrative and financial aspects of the transaction.

The financing bank, Banca Popolare di Milano, was assisted by Italian law firm Studio Legale Pedersoli e Associati partner Alessandro Fosco Fagotto and associate Edoardo Galeotti. The seller was assisted by partner Andrea Milani of Studio Legale Fabris e Associati.

WFW Italy corporate partner Eugenio Tranchino said: “We are very pleased to have advised OBTON on this significant deal within the Italian solar market, continuing our ongoing relationship with this notable player in the renewables market. The secondary market of renewable energy continues to grow in Italy and we are happy to be in the vanguard of this expansion alongside our clients.”
