Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Minnesota-based Nova Consulting Group, Inc. (“Nova”) on its acquisition of respected European environmental consultancy Ambiente International LLP (“Ambiente”).
Nova’s international division, Nova CGI Ltd., will merge with Ambiente to form Nova Ambiente Limited, allowing Nova, an international leader in due diligence, to better serve its clients in European commercial real estate markets.
Led by London Corporate Partner Daniel Saunders and Employment Senior Associate Devan Khagram, WFW was able to leverage expertise across its European offices to provide full service support to Nova for the transaction. The team was supported by London Associate Jasmine Lossourarn and Trainee Kathryn Prior, Madrid Associates Fernando Santos and Borja Gavilá Castelló, and Hamburg Associate Florian Leonhard (all corporate). Tax advice was provided by London Partner Richard Stephens and Associate Edward Moore. Van Doorne N.V acted as Netherlands counsel.

In addition, the acquisition expands Nova’s European equity offerings by introducing long-term environmental property management services.
