WFW advises KfW IPEX-Bank on the financing of two wind farms in France with a combined capacity of 45.6 MW

Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH (“KfW IPEX”) on the legal and tax aspects regarding of the EUR 65 million financing of two French wind farms developed by power producer and operator Boralex Europe S.A..

Located in the north of France, the Roye and Fortel wind farms each consist of eight GE-wind energy turbines and have a combined capacity of 45.6 MW. The project is being refinanced to a large extent by the KfW Renewable Energies program.

WFW advised KfW IPEX on the financing documentation as well as on all due diligence matters in Germany and France.

WFW’s international team was led and coordinated by Hamburg-based partner Dr. Stefan Kilgus (Banking & Finance).
