WFW advises Frasers Hospitality on the acquisition of Malmaison Hotel du Vin hotel group

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised long-time client Frasers Hospitality UK Holdings Limited (“Frasers Hospitality”) on the acquisition of Malmaison Hotel du Vin hotel group from private equity firm KSL Capital Partners, LLC, for a consideration of £363.4 million (S$760m).

The Malmaison Hotel du Vin hotel group operates 29 boutique lifestyle hotels across the UK, under the Malmaison and Hotel du Vin brands respectively.

Frasers Hospitality is a leading global operator of luxury and boutique hotels and serviced apartments. WFW has advised Frasers Hospitality on acquisitions and developments across the UK, Germany and Spain recently. Frasers Hospitality chief executive Choe Peng Sum said the acquisition of the Malmaison Hotel du Vin hotel portfolio puts the group on track to reach its goal of operating 30,000 hotel rooms by 2019.
