International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Cittadino Digital GmbH on the signing of several agreements relating to the development and implementation of its mobility and premiums smartphone app “MoovOn”.

MoovOn tracks the distance traveled by users and assigns them “MoovCoins” for each kilometre they travel anywhere in the world, whether by train, car, plane or on foot.

When 1,000 MoovCoins have been collected, premiums can be exchanged against them. Additionally, users receive further inducements such as access to online magazines and social media platforms, music streaming or and being awarded with additional MoovCoins” when using partner companies’ services.

The WFW team was led by Frankfurt Corporate partner Torsten Rosenboom, assisted by partner Axel Löhde (Corporate and IP/IT, Hamburg) and associates Sebastian Ens, Nicolas Persch (both Corporate/M&A, Frankfurt), Torge Rademacher and Ursula Staab (both Corporate, IP/IT, Hamburg).

The team worked closely with Nadine Eichler, Head of Legal Projects for Cittadino, throughout the transaction.
