Strong performance for WFW in Q1 2019 energy and infrastructure league tables23 April 2019

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has secured an impressive set of rankings in the Q1 2019 Energy & Infrastructure league table rankings for legal advisers in leading sector publications Inframation and inspiratia.

The firm achieved twenty top 20 rankings in Inframation and SparkSpread’s Q1 2019 League Table and Trend Report (Project Finance), including the following top five rankings:

1st by deal count Europe Renewables;
1st by deal count Global Renewables;
1st by deal count Spain;
2nd by deal count All Europe;
2nd by deal count EU;
2nd by deal count Europe Power;
3rd by deal count EMEA;
3rd by deal count Italy;
4th by deal count Latin America Renewables;
4th by deal count Nordics;
4th by deal value Europe Power; and
5th by deal count global.
WFW was also ranked first by deal count for global renewables in inspiratia’s Q1 2019 Legal Adviser Rankings, having also topped the table for the same category in Q1 2018.

Global Energy Group Co-Head Henry Stewart commented: “This is an excellent result for the firm which clearly demonstrates our expertise across a broad range of technologies, including not just renewables but conventional power also”.
