WFW has also been selected by Shell to act on a range of work in Singapore including commercial, corporate transactions, energy contracts, shipping, admiralty and tax. Shell ranked first in terms of revenues on the Fortune Global 500 2013 list of the 500 largest corporations in the world.

Nigel Thomas, relationship partner for DNB, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been appointed to the global panel of DNB, one of the world’s foremost shipping banks and a major international player in the energy sector. We look forward to assisting the bank through our own global shipping finance team and other sector specialists.”

Mei Lin Goh, head of Singapore at WFW, said: “We look forward to working closely with Shell and providing them with the high quality legal advice and client service for which we are known. The appointment is a boost to our already prominent practice in Singapore.”

Michael Greville, managing partner at WFW, added: “These two appointments are deserved recognition for the firm, showcasing the full breadth of our expertise and underlining our commitment to the core sectors and jurisdictions in which our clients operate.”
